Nach einer turbulenten Vergangenheit während der NS-Zeit und mit zahlreichen Eigentümerwechseln in den letzten Jahrzehnten, ist WMF heute wieder eine feste Größe in vielen Privathaushalten und im Hotel- und Gastronomiebetrieb.
