Choice deep orange-brown surfaces with a hint of light olive overall, blushes of crimson-red here and there around the peripheries. Reverse softly defined at lower right, date a bit faint but fully legible, obverse universally bold for grade, overall design appreciable. This is a smooth, attractive, PQ example of both the type and Crosby number in Choice VF that is more wholesome that many pieces in higher grades that your cataloger has handled. Blake Collection, July 2021 Early Copper & Colonial Showcase Auction, lot 91099. PCGS# 813. NGC ID: 2AZ3. Click here for certification details from PCGS.
