1856 "Hidalgos" Guanajuato. 2r. Yellow, pair, on an attractive cover front from Guanajuato to Mascota (Guadalajara), bearing three manuscript "2" markings indicating an "across the lines" usage, meaning the recipient had to pay the same amount again on receipt, as the postmaster did not accept the stamps as valid payment.
