1893-S Morgan Silver Dollar. AU Details--Harshly Cleaned (PCGS).

1893-S Morgan Silver Dollar. AU Details--Harshly Cleaned (PCGS). Here is a desirable About Uncirculated example of this famous key date Morgan dollar issue. Bright and brilliant, both sides retain some of the original frosty mint finish. Overall bold strike detail further confirms a short stint in active circulation, the certified grade likely to have been AU-55 or AU-58 were it not for the glossy texture and noticeable hairlining that explain the PCGS qualifier.
