Front depicts an oval shield with a tennis player with racquet in period-style clothing. Reverse side has the text: Zum Lawn-Tennis Turnier Bonn, Juni 1910 donated by Privy Councilor Carl Funke Essen on the Ruhr The handles are beautifully formed and the shape of the trophy shows craftsmanship. 4 balls are integrated in the bottom part of the trophy there is no hallmark found Tennis trophies of this quality are very seldom seen on the market.
