1927-S Walking Liberty Half Dollar. MS-65 (PCGS).

1927-S Walking Liberty Half Dollar. MS-65 (PCGS). Delicate champagne-gold iridescence and speckles of russet patina appear to drift toward the borders on both sides of this lustrous and frosty example. Softness of strike is confined to the high points, and not unusually so for this challenging issue; most deign elements are boldly to sharply defined. Our multiple offerings for such pieces in this sale notwithstanding, the 1927-S is a conditionally scarce early date Walking Liberty half dollar issue in certified MS-65. This one deserves serious bidder consideration. PCGS# 6587. NGC ID: 24RA. Click here for certification details from PCGS.
