1952 Jaguar XK 120 Roadster by Barris Kustom

Acquired new by film icon Clark Gable, the “King of Hollywood”. Customized for Gable by the legendary George Barris, featuring a removable Carson-type top, shaved headlamp trim, deleted turn-signal plinths and wing mirrors, and a smoothed boot lid. Concours-quality restoration to Gable’s specification completed in 2017 by JK Restorations in Oswego, Illinois. Finished in a Gable-selected gold-bronze hue, complemented by a red leather interior. Retains its matching-numbers chassis, body, engine, and cylinder head, and accompanied by a Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust Certificate and Barris Kustom Certificate of Authenticity. Displayed at the 2017 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, along with numerous other prestigious showings including Amelia Island and Greenwich.
