French registration certificate; roadworthiness test up to date In 1970, Honda launched the SL 175, a small off-road motorbike that perfectly embodied the spirit of the brand’s versatile machines at that time. With its elegant silhouette, characteristic of Honda’s late 1960s models, it was designed to perform equally well on tracks and trails as well as on the road. Powered by a 174 cm³ air-cooled single-cylinder engine, the SL 175 offers a responsive and reliable engine, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. Its lightweight design and off-road-oriented chassis make it a particularly enjoyable machine to ride, whether for trips into the countryside or for everyday commuting. Its current owner, a passionate and knowledgeable Honda enthusiast, has taken great care in restoring it. Every component has been meticulously treated to preserve the authenticity and original character of this SL 175, which has clocked up 7,000 kilometres since new. Its immaculate condition highlights the iconic lines of this little Honda, which has now become a true collector’s item. Please note that the motorbike requires a running-in period, due to the extensive mechanical work carried out, notably the replacement of the piston and piston rings. If you are looking for a rare and charming model, this 1970 Honda SL 175, meticulously restored whilst respecting its authenticity, is sure to appeal to both Honda collectors and enthusiasts of Japanese motorbikes. A charming machine, representative of Honda’s craftsmanship from that era and of particular interest to any enthusiast of vintage motorbikes.
