Sticker details Player: Michel Platini National team: France Collection: Mexico 86 Publisher: Panini Year: 1986 Number: #175 Competition: FIFA World Cup Mexico 1986 Type: football sticker Original from the era Not pasted Front and back original Italian Panini production Michel Platini arrived at the 1986 World Cup during the most prestigious period of his career. He won the Ballon d’Or for three consecutive years, in 1983, 1984 and 1985, as well as being the leader of Europe champion France in 1984. The Mexican World Cup also marked the last World Cup played by Platini. France reached the semi-finals and finished the tournament in third place, making this sticker particularly representative of the French champion’s international career. Among the tournament’s most famous moments was the France-Brazil quarter-final, one of the most remembered matches in World Cup history, in which Platini scored the equalizing goal for France. Sticker #175 is therefore one of the most interesting pieces in the France section of the Mexico 86 collection, especially for collectors of Michel Platini, Juventus, France, FIFA World Cups and vintage Panini stickers. The photographs show exactly the sticker offered and constitute an integral part of the description. Therefore, please study them carefully for a personal assessment of the conservation status.
