2007 Achille Boroli, Villero - Barolo DOCG - 1 Magnum (1.5L)

Villero is one of Castiglione Falletto’s top vineyards in terms of quality and exposure. The soil is clay and limestone, with a southern to southwestern exposure. This mix ensures Barolo Villero is powerful, structured, and aromatically deep. Thanks to long maceration, the tannins are smooth and polished. Barolo Villero 2007, made from Nebbiolo grapes grown in Villero, is a sensory masterpiece. Its bouquet wraps the senses with notes of ripe cherry, rose, tobacco, and spices. On the palate, it offers a symphony of silky tannins and a rich array of flavors including red fruit, leather, and earthy tones. Awards: JamesSuckling.com: 92 Robert Parker: 92
