2008 Pol Roger, Cuvee Sir Winston Churchill Brut - Champagne - 1 Bottle (0.75L)

Beautiful top-bottle and coffret from Pol Roger. Iconic. Parker rated 97/100, Wine Enthusiast 100/100. Musthave. Champagne Pol Roger created their Prestige Cuvée in homage to Sir Winston Churchill mindful of the qualities that he sought in his champagne: robustness, a full-bodied character and relative maturity. The exact blend is a closely guarded family secret. Pinot Noir predominates, providing structure, breadth and robustness whilst Chardonnay contributes elegance, finesse and subtlety. Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill is only made in the very best vintages and is always released later than the other vintage dated Champagnes from Pol Roger, marking Churchill's appreciation for older wines. Shipping: (Only to EU-Countries) The bottles will be sealed with plastic film to ensure that the label will not get damaged, then it will be wrapped in bubble-wrap and shipped in a suitable cardboard box.
