CHARACTERISTICS OF VIÑA TONDONIA BLANCO RESERVA WINEMAKING: The grapes used to produce Viña Tondonia Blanco Reserva come from 100 hectares of vineyards featuring century-old vines, situated at an average altitude of 450 meters on low-yield soils. Harvesting is carried out by hand during September and October. At the winery, the fruit is gently pressed, and the resulting must ferments-without stems-in 600-liter oak vats. Once fermentation is complete, the wine rests in oak barrels for two years, undergoing two rackings per year prior to bottling. Finally, it is bottled unfiltered, using egg whites for fining. GRAPES: A blend of Viura (90%) complemented by a small proportion of Malvasía (10%). APPEARANCE: Displays a very vivid, brilliant amber color of great intensity.
