It offers aromas of red fruit, tobacco, pepper, and white flowers. The palate is full, enveloping, and elegant, featuring the soft, smooth tannins typical of the Cerretta cru. It leaves the mouth feeling clean, with an intense, lingering aftertaste. Vinification involves hand-selection of the grapes, harvested in October. Fermentation and maceration last approximately 40 days, utilizing pump-overs and *délestage*, with the final 22 days spent under a submerged cap. The wine is aged in large Austrian oak casks for about 24 months, followed by a further period of bottle aging approximately 12 months before release.
