Tasting Notes Appearance A brilliant pink hue with subtle coppery highlights, enlivened by a dynamic, creamy effervescence that forms a fine bead. Nose The bouquet is fragrant and highly elegant. It reveals citrus aromas—dominated by blood orange—intermingled with scents of rose petals and intense red fruits like raspberry. Aeration releases a powdery, sensual character, underscored by hints of macaron and toasted hazelnut, all while maintaining lovely freshness. Palate The attack is caressing, enveloping, and delicate. The concentrated, satin-like texture evokes red fruits and rose, supported by soft-textured bubbles. The finish is voluptuously long, marked by saline and chalky freshness—reminiscent of a sea breeze—and a fine tannic structure devoid of any harshness. Food Pairing This wine elevates duck confit but also pairs wonderfully with roast poultry, fine fish such as turbot, lobster, or even mildly spicy Asian dishes. It is also an excellent match for soft cheeses like Brie or Chaource. Serving and Cellaring To fully appreciate the Cristal Rosé 2015, it is recommended to serve it in tulip-shaped glasses at a temperature between 10 and 12°C.
