2018 Vietti Castiglione - Barolo - 1 Magnum (1.5L)

Sourced from various Barolo parcels, this 100% Nebbiolo grows on limestone marl soils. Vinification takes place separately in stainless steel tanks. Aging occurs in barrels and casks for approximately 30 months. This cuvée always generates a lot of buzz, and the 2018 vintage is no exception! The nose expresses intense and precise notes of wild, slightly smoky black fruit and abundant floral aromas. The sun-drenched character of the luscious 2018 is also present. On the palate, it is both broad and long, with a fleshy body that lingers beautifully. Excellent quality tannins! This wine will reach its peak in two years, but can be cellared for at least another 10 years…
