This white wine is made from pure Chardonnay, coming from an exceptional 0.50 hectare plot planted over 60 years ago on deep clay soil, giving the wine power, roundness and mineral notes. Located in the heart of Fuissé’s amphitheater, the Les Reisses plot benefits from a privileged microclimate, alternating daytime heat and nighttime coolness, allowing optimal ripening of the grapes. Biodynamic farming (Biodyvin certified) and manual harvest guarantee an authentic wine, with no enological additives, respectful of the terroir. Aging takes place in oak barrels on fine lees for at least 24 months, bringing complexity, richness and length on the palate. This Pouilly-Fuissé 1er Cru is distinguished by its perfect balance between generosity and freshness. On the nose, it offers delicate aromas of white flowers (hawthorn, acacia), ripe citrus fruits (lemon, grapefruit) and honey, supported by a mineral and iodized touch. On the palate, it is ample, creamy and taut, with a lively acidity that provides crunch and length. The finish is persistent, with notes of white stone and gentle spices.
