2022 Perrin : Château de Beaucastel

Vintage after vintage, it displays an almost black color and a nose that is both very fine and powerful, with aromas of red fruits, blackcurrant, blackberry, spices, thyme, and lavender. Magnificent, the attack on the palate is ample and supple, revealing deliciously fruity flavors (fig, cherry, blackberry, stewed fruit…) supported by a beautiful acidity and extremely fine tannins. A truly great name from the Rhône, living up to its reputation! It should be carefully cellared, as it is still young enough to fully appreciate its potential!
