2022 Santanova Valpolicella Ripasso - Veneto Superiore - 6 Bottles (0.75L)

Santanova Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore Santanova Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore Santanova Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore Country: Italy Region: Veneto – Valpolicella Classification: Valpolicella Ripasso DOC Superiore Grapes: Corvina, Rondinella and Corvinone Alcohol: 13.5% Volume: 0.75 liters Style: smooth, fruity and fairly full-bodied Taste: primarily cherries, red fruit and sweet spices, with a soft, velvety texture and a substantial finish. Ripasso means that the wine undergoes a second fermentation on the grape skins which that were also used for Amarone. As a result, it gains more body and concentration than a regular Valpolicella, but it generally remains lighter and easier to drink than an Amarone.
