2023 Henri Chauvet "Vie Ordinaire" - Côtes d'Auvergne - 1 Magnum (1.5L)

Henri Chauvet – Everyday Life 2023 – Pinot Noir – Magnum 1.5 L A Pinot Noir of great personality signed by Henri Chauvet, one of the most interesting emerging names in Auvergne, a French region experiencing an extraordinary rediscovery thanks to a new generation of artisanal winemakers. After important formative experiences, including a stint with the famous Thierry Allemand in Cornas, Henri Chauvet launched his project in the village of Boudes, valorizing the vine heritage and the region’s characteristic volcanic terroirs. Vie Ordinaire 2023 is produced entirely from Pinot Noir, coming from two plots characterized by volcanic soils and blue marls. The vinification involves a whole-cluster maceration of about 10–12 days, followed by 12 months of wooden aging. The result is a refined and expressive Pinot Noir, featuring red fruit, spice nuances, delicate tannins, and a pronounced freshness. A wine that combines elegance, energy, and territorial identity, with an interesting potential for evolution.
