2024 Stéphane Montez : Magnums Syrah à Papa - Rhône - 3 Magnums (1.5L)

Stéphane Montez’s Syrah à Papa charms with its ruby-red color and purplish highlights. The nose reveals notes of red fruit, pepper, and licorice. On the palate, it is powerful, dense, and tannic. Made exclusively from Syrah, the iconic grape variety of the northern Rhône Valley, this red wine perfectly expresses the Montez signature: a precise balance between crisp fruit, aromatic elegance, and mineral purity. The vines are rooted on steep granite slopes around Chavanay, in the heart of the Northern Rhône. The harvest, carried out entirely by hand, ensures the picking of perfectly ripe berries, essential for the Syrah’s refined and indulgent expression. Food and wine pairings: Perfect with grilled meats, rabbit stew, or cheese.
