The underside of the main dish is impressed with the maker name Mappin & Webb Ltd followed by the letter H inside a shield-shaped cartouche and the model number C47/29. Additional impressed marks on the base include a sunburst or star symbol, the initials M.W, the number 1350, the letter I, and the phrase Warranted Hard Soldered.
