8mm Barbra Streisand in Hardcore Movie Reel

Description: Item/Description: Vintage 1970 8mm movie reel, titled Barbra Streisand in Hardcore. A notorious piece of counterculture exploitation memorabilia distributed by a mail-order adult novelty firm operating under the name French Films Inc. The bootleg distribution company intentionally hijacked the Hollywood starlet's surging fame by putting her name on the cover to trick collectors into buying a 10-minute silent adult film that actually features an anonymous lookalike actress. The item became a famous piece of entertainment folklore after Barbra Streisand publicly addressed it in a 1977 interview, completely debunking her involvement by humorously pointing out distinct anatomical differences between her own hands and the fingers of the performer visible on the screen.
