A BRITISH 1888 PATTERN SWORD BAYONET AND SCABBARD, FIRST TYPE. With a 30 cm pointed, double edged blade with central rib, well marked with various marks including War department arrow, 11/89 and others. The wooden two part grip with three brass rivets, erased unit markings and functioning spring. In a steel mounted leather scabbard. 44 cm. Provenance: The Bob Osborne Bayonet Collection.
