A DIVISION ONE SCARCE WOOD PICTORIAL BUTTON

1 Large 18th century lacquered wood URN example. These lacquered wood buttons were once considered to be paper mache until one example with the 3 feathers was found broken in half and one could plainly see they were wood buttons. There are several designs found on these like the 3 feathers, the wreath, the fan, but this Urn example is the rarest example we know of. Dimensions: SM=Less than 3/4", Medium=3/4" to 1 1/4". Large=1 1/4" and above, extra large=1 3/4" and above Date or Era: DIVISION 1=PRE 1918 AND DIVISION 3 IS AFTER 1918 Condition Request Condition Report PLEASE NOTE: These buttons for the most part are antique and may have age related wear.
