A DIVISION ONE WOOD AND BRASS BUTTON

1 Large 19th century pictorial horses and riders example. Another example from the Lanier collection is this late 19th century wood and brass Equestrian subject matter button. The rich warm coloration of the wood base has an escutcheon of a heavy detailed square equestrian design inset into the base. This is one of those nice deluxe wood buttons collectors can acquire. Dimensions: SM=Less than 3/4", Medium=3/4" to 1 1/4".
