A FINE VICTORIAN COURT SWORD BY LOUIS HOLBECK OF LONDON. With a 78 cm slender, tapering and pointed blade, extensively etched with VR cypher and crown, scrolling foliage, marked for 'Louis Holbeck, New Bond Street, London. With shell guard with fine crowned VR cypher, wire bound grip and crown pommel. In a leather scabbard with gilt metal mounts. Provenance: purportedly the Peto Family, formerly of Cheddington Court, Dorset.
