A Guided/Introduction Day for Two Anglers, fishing for Carp on the fly in Kent

A Guided/Introduction Day for Two Anglers, fishing for Carp on the fly in Kent Mike le Lacheur has been an avid fly fisher for over 40 years, starting on small waters and then reservoirs, where where he fished competitively for over 20 years. He also fishes for bass and mullet in saltwater along with salmon and sea trout in the Scottish rivers. He now thoroughly enjoys passing his knowledge onto others and flyfishing for carp is a very exciting way to do this. They're not always easy to catch, but you don't need to cast to the horizon and, when you hook one, they are arguably the strongest freshwater fish in the UK. A guided day (7am-5pm) fishing on a date to be arranged in May or July 2027 for two anglers at Elphicks Fishery in Kent. Midweek or weekend dates are fine. Common, Mirror and Grass Carp up to 33lbs and an average of around 10lbs. Tackle required/fishery rules - 8 or 9wt single handed rod, reel (preferably with a good drag) and floating line, minimum 15lb leader (copolymer), barbless hooks. Some tackle can be provided if needed. Coffee/tea and bacon roll included for breakfast. Cafe next to the lake does a good range of drinks and food throughout the day. One non-fishing guest per angler. Parking next to the lake and easy access to swims. Generously donated by Mike Le Lacheur.
