A late 1940's-50's silk brocade horizontal striped evening bag. The brocade attached to a shaped gild metal frame and fine chain, with an ornate gilt metal clasp inset with faux pearls, The silk interior with K Shoes label and fixed purse, the evening bag comes with a Aspreys box and cover. The bag not originally sold by Aspreys. Condition; The brocade has darkened with age and has a few light stains from use. The gilt frame has tiny tarnish spots, the interior is clean. The Asprey box lid has been sellotaped and the corner sides of the box are worn.
