A late 19th early 20th century needle worked polychrome floral wool rug. Worked with a repeating quatrefoil floral trellis, of large cabbage roses, leaves and buds. Worked in fifteen panels sewn together and edged. 163cm x 276cm. Condition; the embroidery has elements of the pattern badly worn and some holes, from use and age.
