Tyrol, first half of the 17th century, cast bronze, of beaker form with a strongly projecting lip and moulded foot, with two pairs of opposed dolphin heads forming handles, horizontal encircling corded bands dividing the body into two sections. The lower section with female masks between cross-shaped flowers above lion masks and natural casts of sage leaves. The upper section with the same motifs, a crucifix to the front and back, and putti heads in strapwork cartouches above casts of medals with biblical subjects. The depictions of “The Visitation”, “The Annunciation” and “The Resurrection of Christ” can be attributed to Nickel Milicz (active 1545–1568) and his workshop.
