A PARTIALLY-GLAZED QINGBAI FIGURE OF GUANYIN

China, Southern Song/Yuan Dynasty (1127–1368), H 22 cm. Dressed in long flowing robes with exposed chest adorned with beaded jewelry and a lotus-scroll crown. Covered in a pale translucent bluish-green qingbai glaze over the base and accents, leaving the figure predominantly in the unglazed biscuit.
