porcelain, cup with flared lip and waisted foot, the body painted all around with polychrome playing cards, burnished-gold ground, burnished-gold interior, gilt-heightened serpent handle terminating in a palmette, saucer with corresponding decoration, cup height 7.7 cm, saucer diameter 14.9 cm, date mark (1)834, turners’ nos. 25 Franz Dunkel and 12 Michael Neubich, red nos. 2/11 and 3/11 respectively, impressed shield mark, lower edge of the saucer with a chip, (Hr)
