A SECOND WORLD WAR GERMAN M35 PATTERN BEADED 'REJECT' HELMET. An M1935 pattern helmet with beaded horizontal band, and remains of Luftschutz emblem to the front. With remains of brown leather liner and black leather chin strap, stamped Q62 and 221, painted name to the reverse 'G. Waldner'. 23 x 27 x 15 cm. Originally designed for combat use, the beaded pattern of helmet did not pass the necessary tests and was not accepted for combat use and was widely used by the civil air defence.
