A "The Pebble and the Penguin" Color Key Concept Painting.

(Bluth, 1995) An original background color key concept painting from "The Pebble and the Penguin" featuring penguins marching in step. The concept painting was created at the studio and used during the development process. Don Bluth Productions uniquely used these concepts not only to develop the scene's color palette, style, and emotion, but he also used these panels as storyboards to visualize the full story development. Measuring 6" x 11" overall, with the image area measuring 5.5" x 10.5", the background color key concept is in fine condition with light wear from studio use.
