of polygonal form, the hinged cover inlaid in specimen woods with a radiating star within crossbanded borders, the sides with glazed panels enclosing carte de visite portraits, several with photographers’ imprints including Sear & Son of Clapham Road and Henderson, the interior fitted with radiating compartments about a turned reel holder and lined in red, with a quantity of buttons, the whole revolving upon a turned pedestal base. 25cm high, 30.5cm diameter
