Alle Auktionen / Teppiche & Textilien / AA155 - Gobelin Tablecloth with Floral Motif and Green...
Floral Gobelin Tablecloth with Green Border – 140 x 180 cm We propose an elegant rectangular tablecloth in filo-dyed Gobelin fabric, made with high-definition jacquard weaving, typical of the finest European textile tradition. This selected Deco Italian Design lot is offered exclusively for Catawiki auctions. The natural cord/ivory background is softly enlivened by a rain of small scattered flowers, creating a soft and bright base perfect to enhance any place setting. The entire perimeter is framed by a rich floral border: large flowers in shades of burgundy red, cream white and gold yellow, paired with bright green leaves, giving life to a spring motif with a strong visual impact yet always refined. The border is further embellished by a green shell-shaped edge, a sartorial detail that echoes the botanical elements of the design and defines the drape on the table with a unique decorative touch. The fabric hand is substantial, compact and durable, ideal for those who want a solid decorative centerpiece, not as light as plain printed cotton but reminiscent of a small textile tapestry. Perfect in kitchens and dining rooms in classic, romantic, country-chic or Provençal styles, this Gobelin tablecloth instantly brings a garden atmosphere into the home, ideal both for the warm season and to illuminate interiors throughout the year. Technical specifications Dimensions: 140 x 180 cm, ideal for rectangular tables seating 6. Composition: heavy synthetic mix with high density (typical indoor Gobelin). Weaving: jacquard woven, design not printed but woven directly into the weave for livelier, more durable colors over time. Motif: neutral background with small flowers and wide floral border featuring large burgundy, cream and gold-yellow flowers, green foliage. Predominant colors: cord/ivory, green, burgundy red, gold yellow, cream white. Finishes: perimeter finished with the distinctive green “shell” wavy edge. Condition: excellent, Deco Italian Design selected lot. Ideal for Elegant tables in classic, romantic or Provençal styles. Daily family lunches and weekend dinners with guests when you want a bright floral touch with a strong effect. Country-chic, shabby, countryside homes, B&Bs and vacation homes wanting to enhance the living area with a substantial decorative fabric. Scenic setups, photoshoots, styling for interior decorators and shop windows. A quality gift idea for those who love Italian décor and floral Gobelin fabrics. A luminous, romantic and characterful furnishing accessory: a small “botanical painting” woven on a loom, capable of turning the table into a refined and welcoming focal point, signed Deco Italian Design. Care and Washing Recommended professional dry cleaning, or delicate wash in cold water. Do not bleach, do not use a dryer.
