Achdé - 1 Autographed original drawing - Lucky Luke - Ma Dalton (2000's)

Very beautiful original drawing by Achdé, the illustrator of the famous Lucky Luke series, created by Morris. This illustration depicts Ma Dalton, the formidable mother of the Dalton brothers, one of the most emblematic and tasty characters in the Lucky Luke universe. The artist offers here a particularly expressive portrait of Ma Dalton, recognizable by her hat, her small round glasses, her prominent nose, and her strong-willed character. The character is shown in profile, mouth wide open, in an angry and energetic attitude. The drawing perfectly conveys the humor and the authoritative personality of this iconic figure in the series. AN ORIGINAL ACHDÉ CREATION Done in black ink, with highlights in red and blue colored pencils, this illustration combines the spontaneity of the line with light and expressive coloring. Hatching, movement lines and varying line thickness give great dynamism to the composition. The touches of red on the face and blue in the shading emphasize the character’s expression, while preserving the authentic look of a hand-drawn original. SIGNED AND DEDICATED DRAWING The work includes a handwritten dedication as well as Achdé’s signature, visible in the lower right part of the drawing.
