Adam Burczyz (1982) - Ballon

A painting, undoubtedly unsettling. Was it really a burning balloon? Is it a metaphor for our world adrift, burning away little by little? Adam Burczyc, born in Racibórz (Poland) in 1982, continues to live and create in his hometown. After beginning his training under Dr Kazimierz Fraczek, he graduated in 2007 from the Higher Vocational School in his city under the direction of Prof. Aleksander Ostrowski. While his inspiration stems from music and the contemplation of nature, his themes and his color palette draw us into the world of dreams. For that reason he could be considered a surrealist painter, although I prefer to describe him as an artist who dreams magical worlds, most of the time places where we would like to spend at least one weekend. Although others have a tragic breath, of lands or ships that fragment. Perhaps all of it, like life itself.
