Alle Auktionen / Zeitgenössische Kunst / Alexandre Petrus (1988[ - LUFFY (HAKI)
ABOUT THE ARTWORK “Luffy Haki” is a striking tribute to one of the most iconic characters in manga and anime culture. The artwork captures Luffy in a powerful and determined stance, with his intense gaze, recognizable straw hat, and muscular silhouette emphasizing both his fighting spirit and his unwavering will. The composition focuses on the raw presence of the character, reduced to strong contrasts through the hand-cut stencil technique. This simplification enhances the visual impact and gives the piece a bold, contemporary energy. The soft purple and light blue background creates a vibrant contrast with the black, white, and lilac tones of the figure. It gives the artwork an electric and atmospheric presence while reinforcing the feeling of tension, power, and inner control suggested by the title. The overall result is both dynamic and visually balanced. A strong and eye-catching artwork for collectors drawn to anime, pop culture, and expressive contemporary imagery. “Luffy Haki” is a piece about determination, resilience, strength, and the mindset required to keep moving forward. ABOUT THE ARTIST Alexandre Petrus is a French stencil artist with a strong and instantly recognizable visual identity. His signature technique — the hand-cut double-layer stencil — separates light and shadow into two distinct stencils, layered onto a spontaneous, hand-painted abstract background. The result is a striking visual language where each subject emerges with strength, clarity, and presence. His work moves between mythology, pop culture, wildlife, and symbolic scenes inspired by childhood, freedom, and human emotion. Whatever the theme, the approach remains the same: precision in the stencil, freedom in the background, and a constant search for contrast, impact, and emotion. Each artwork is a unique original. No prints, no identical editions: every background is painted individually by hand, making each piece distinct. The small smiling “AP” monogram visible on the artwork is the artist’s signature — Alexandre Petrus’s initials merged into a face — sprayed onto every original piece. SHIPPING The artwork is carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and protective plastic film, then secured in a custom-sized cardboard box for safe international transit. A signed certificate of authenticity is included inside the package. Shipping via Colissimo or Chronopost, tracked and insured. Dispatch within 3 working days after payment confirmation.
