A fascinating and richly illustrated Persian manuscript devoted to astrology, astral prognostication, geomancy (raml), talismanic knowledge and related occult sciences. The work is identified as “Aḥkām-i Akhtarān” and is attributed to ʿAlī ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥīm. The manuscript is dated 1221 AH, corresponding to approximately 1806–1807 CE, during the early Qajar period. The volume contains approximately 300 handwritten pages and is preserved as a complete bound manuscript. It is particularly notable for its numerous astrological tables, numerical arrangements, diagrams and calculations.
