This large-format work combines a tranquil mountain landscape with a far-eastern inspired visual language. Bright mountain silhouettes rise above a vast turquoise water surface, while the moon stands over the landscape and reflects its light on the water. Dark and golden bamboo stems and fine leaves form a striking frame in the foreground and give the composition depth. The combination of luminous turquoise tones, cool mountain nuances, and warm gold accents creates a simultaneously expressive and harmonious atmosphere. The title “Moonrise” picks up the still moment in which moonlight transforms the landscape. Its reflection runs like a glowing trail across the water and guides the eye into the distance. Depending on the light, the golden and reflective elements reveal different nuances and make the work appear slightly changed again and again. “Moonrise” is part of the series “Silent Zen” and stands for calm, vastness, and the quiet beauty of nature. The canvas is shipped rolled without a frame. It is carefully wrapped around a sturdy cardboard tube and additionally protected by a robust outer cardboard packaging. The work is signed on the back. An authenticity certificate from the artist is included. About the Artist Alla Faber lives and works in Hamburg. For several years she has dedicated herself to abstract and contemporary painting and creates large-scale works that balance stillness and movement, structure and ease. Her preferred materials are acrylic paints, texture gels, and metal foils—combined in fine, often multilayered compositions. Through delicate transitions, harmonious color gradients, and light reflections, her paintings do not dominate the space but fill it with quiet presence. Her works have already been shown in several exhibitions in Hamburg, including Hamburg zeigt Kunst, Galerie Jupiter, and in HASPA branches.
