Alvar Aalto, vase, model 9750 signed Alvar Aalto Iittala.

Ruby red glass blown into a wooden mould. Height 14 cm. Between the years 1948–1949, the production of mouth-blown glass was gradually transferred from the Karhula glassworks to the Iittala glassworks. At Iittala, the vases were made in wooden moulds until 1953, after which production gradually shifted to metal moulds in 1954. At the same time, the numbering system for the vases was revised, and model 9750 received the new model number 3030.
