Absolute RC Racing Carbon - Carbon Racing Bicycle Columbus Genius Shimano Dura-Ace Ultegra GENERAL DESCRIPTION Up for auction an extraordinary and high-performance top-of-the-line racing bicycle by Absolute, model RC Racing Carbon. The monocoque frame is built with Columbus Genius High Modulus carbon tubes, synonymous with extreme lightness, structural rigidity, and responsiveness. The bike features a stunning, aggressive gloss black finish with contrasting fluorescent orange details and graphics. The frame integrates the monocoque carbon front fork, internal cable routing, and Pro geometry designed in Italy. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS AND VISIBLE COMPONENTS The bike boasts a high-end setup with a mixed Shimano Dura-Ace and Ultegra 11-speed drivetrain. The rear derailleur is Shimano Dura-Ace, paired with a Shimano Dura-Ace front derailleur, Ultegra double-chainring crankset, and Shimano integrated shifters on the handlebars. The braking system uses high-end traditional brake calipers. The cockpit includes a carbon fiber handlebar/stem and extensions branded FSA, a carbon fiber FSA Energy seatpost, and an ergonomic Giant Contact saddle. Completing the setup are high-performance Mavic Ksyrium wheels shod with Pirelli P7 Sport tires. CONDITION AND RECOMMENDED WORK Being a carefully stored model in a garage or storage, the carbon frame and the entire mechanism are in overall excellent condition. As it is a relatively recent vintage bike that has been unused, before road use a quick general routine check is recommended, lubricating the chain and drivetrain, checking tire pressure, and tightening/adjusting of fasteners. Aesthetically, the paint and carbon finish maintain an excellent shine, with only minimal and negligible signs of ordinary use. SHIPPING AND PACKAGING NOTES The lot will be packed with extreme care and will be shipped via courier with tracking and insurance. Note that, to ensure safer shipping and reduce package volume, parts of the bicycle may be removed, such as pedals, saddle, wheels, and the handlebars.
