An 18k gold, diamond and enamel lion clip brooch. Comic-style relief depicting a roaring lion from the "Bestiario Feroce" series. With a textured mane, finely decorated with translucent reddish-brown and black enamel. Open mouth and ears set with 34 small 8/8-cut diamonds (total approx. 0.50 ct, H/I, VVS/VS), the eyes set with two oval emerald cabochons (approx. 4.1 x 3.0 mm). Hinged brooch fitting with double pin and sliding safety catch. Oval relief mark (used since 1967) "750/18k Modèle FC Deposé Made in Italy". Stamped: "FRO". Clip stamped: "Brev". Minor chips and restoration to the enamel. 8.7 x 4.0 cm. Weight 59.77 g. Frascarolo, Valenza, 1970s.
