The gilt inscriptions state ‘Nelson 2nd April Baltic’, ’15th Febry‘, ‘San Joseph’, and ‘Glorious 1st August’. The saucer has two additional oak leaf reserves with banderols inscribed ‘Nelson San Joseph’ and ‘Nelson Aboukir’. Circa 1802.
