Andalucía – Spain. ANA RUIZ is a Spanish visual artist born in 1967 in Nerja / Costa del Sol (Andalucía - Spain). Throughout her artistic journey, this painter has left a deep mark of restlessness in the eyes of those who observe keenly, placing several of her works in countries such as Greece, Portugal, Italy, England, Ireland, the Netherlands, France, Slovakia, Germany, Portugal Scotland, Slovakia, Belgium and Spain. Using a wide range of mixed techniques, she makes perfect transitions between acrylic and oil, achieving different and impressive textures on canvases or panels. After years of searching for her own style, she developed a distinctive and singular way of creating, characterized by applying an alternative color palette according to the work’s requirements, sometimes bold and vigorous and other times soft and delicate. The subject of her paintings is diverse, simple, and noticeable; all of them are united by the painting technique, sometimes forming layered textures that draw the viewer deep into their thoughts.
