Andrea Roux (XX-XXI) - Il respiro del mistero

Oil painting on canvas from the collection, large in size. Signed by hand by the contemporary artist Andrea Roux and with a double gallery stamp. Title: The Breath of Mystery Dimensions 70x55 cm Year: 2026 Andrea Roux was born in Nice in 1989 to an Italian-French family and lives and works in Italy. His oil painting concentrates on the face as an emotional and symbolic space, through large close-ups where eyes, lips and fragments of the face take on an iconic strength. Inspired by the European classical tradition and Italian chiaroscuro, Roux builds images suspended between contemporary figuration and memory, where the gaze becomes the center of a quiet and intense tension. His research finds expression in the series “Custodi dello sguardo” (Guardians of the Gaze). www.instagram.com/lagalerie991/ NB: The work will be shipped in a sturdy tube suitable for shipping.
