Alle Auktionen / Zeitgenössische Kunst / Andrea Roux (XX-XXI) - Profondità ocra
Large-format oil painting on canvas from a collection. Hand-signed by the contemporary artist Andrea Roux and bearing a double gallery stamp. Title: Ochre Depth Dimensions: 70 x 50 cm Year: 2026 Andrea Roux was born in Nice in 1989 to an Italian-French family and lives and works in Italy. His oil painting focuses on the face as an emotional and symbolic space, through large close-ups where eyes, lips, and fragments of the visage take on an iconic strength. Inspired by the European classical tradition and Italian chiaroscuro, Roux builds images suspended between contemporary figuration and memory, where the gaze becomes the center of a quiet, intense tension. His research finds expression in the series “Custodi dello sguardo.” www.instagram.com/lagalerie991/ NB: The artwork will be shipped inside a sturdy tube suitable for shipping. The colors of the painting may differ slightly from the photos due to screen settings. In person, the artworks are more beautiful than in photography: one can appreciate the hypnotic beauty of the oil colors that come to life on the canvas. Worldwide shipping via UPS.
