ANTIQUE HANDLEY & MOORE EBONIZED GOTHIC BRACKET CLOCK.

An antique Handley & Moore, Clerkenwell, London ebonized and brass-inlaid Gothic bracket clock, ca. 1802–1819. A Gothic arched case with brass foliate and quatrefoil inlay throughout, surmounted by a stepped finial block fitted with a central obelisk finial and two acorn finials. The arched silvered dial signed 'Handley & Moore, Clerkenwell' with Roman numerals, blued-steel hands, and a strike/silent lever above the chapter ring within a laurel-engraved surround; the engraved brass backplate similarly signed 'Handley & Moore / Clerkenwell / London.' Three bells visible to the interior with a twin-fusee movement. The ebonized base with brass scroll inlay, raised on brass bracket feet. 27.5”H x 13”W x 7.5”D.
