"Rivières" are among the timeless classics of diamond jewellery. Their name comes from the French word for "river" - an allusion to the gently flowing lines of these sparkling creations. The art of creating a piece of rivière jewellery is twofold: firstly, the selection of matching stones is crucial. Secondly, the type of mounting determines the quality of the piece of jewellery. It must allow the stones to flow smoothly and silky and leave as little metal visible as possible. This form of jewellery has been particularly popular since the 19th century and has lost none of its fascination to this day. This is a particularly beautiful rivière: The bracelet from the 1920s sparkles and shines so brightly that it is a pleasure to look at. A total of 45 diamonds with a total weight of 6.50 ct are individually set in platinum and flexibly linked together, making the bracelet wonderfully soft and easy to wear on the wrist. The precious gemstone setting radiates a cool firework of sparkling light reflections in its bright settings. The old European cut and early brilliant cut diamonds are arranged in a slightly graduated pattern, meaning they are carefully sorted by size. A practical box clasp with safety eyes completes the piece of jewellery and holds it securely on the wrist.
